Description
Present your new Space activity at the Workshop!
About the event
This workshop deals with the Copernicus Contributing Missions (CCMs).
The Copernicus programme (https://www.copernicus.eu) provides access on a full, free and open basis to its Sentinel data and also the thematic information products from its six Copernicus services are made available on a full, free and open basis. This topical information is produced using Sentinel data (so-called dedicated missions) complemented, where needed, with Very High Resolution (VHR) Earth Observation (EO) data from commercial satellite data providers (so-called contributing missions).
The workshop will feature an explanation of the data needs from the Copernicus services for VHR EO data and other types of EO data, an explanation of plans for future CCM activities, as well as presentations of current or possible future offers by European new space data providers (SMEs, start-ups, starting entrepreneurs).
What kind of presentations are we looking for?
We are looking for European SMEs, start-ups and entrepreneurs that would like to present their new space data activities, solutions, services ... The presentation should as well indicate how the activity/data could concretely respond to the data needs/requirements of the Copernicus services (2-3 slides).
The opportunity: You can either have a 3 min pitch in a dedicated session or in a networking session. Please note that your presentation will be shared with the other participants and made publicly available on the Copernicus website (https://www.copernicus.eu).
Also, please check out to fill in the survey published by ESA on the evolution of the CCMs, open to European (new) Space industry: https://ideas.esa.int/, which also contains (technical) info on the Copernicus services’ data needs.
