We all have a crucial role to play in ensuring better gender balance in aerospace and defence. This workshop, organised by the Directorate General for Defence Industry and Space, will explore the causes of, and discuss ways to improve gender equality.

The event will gather participants from industry, academia, regional authorities and other relevant organisations. With presentations of best practices and participatory discussions on how to mainstream gender equality in aerospace and defence companies and relevant organisations, it aspires to generate and share ideas on how to improve the current situation within the sector across Europe.
