Register now to participate in the first EUDIS Hackathon!

Registrations are open for the European Union Defence Innovation Scheme (EUDIS) Hackathons 2024, an initiative launched by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space.

The theme of this first EUDIS Hackathon is “Digital in Defence”. During the two-day hybrid event, taking place from 31 of May to the 2 June 2024 across six locations in Europe, the selected hosts and their teams will tackle technological challenges in line with the challenges: Subsea Infrastructure Protection; Improving situational awareness; and Cybersecurity in Defence, this way expanding over a wide range of cutting-edge concepts such as information superiority and artificial intelligence.

These hackathons are a unique opportunity to gather with like-minded people and organisations from the defence and other sectors, to create synergies, and to develop your knowledge and skills in the defence sector. You can join them either physically or online.

The six local hosts of this year are Design Terminal, Sopra Steria, Kaunas University of Technology (KUT), Krakow Technology Park, National Centre for Scientific Research Demokritos and Cefriel.

The call is open until 19 May. Don’t wait any longer and click here to find more information about the local hosts, the challenges, and to register.

You can either apply with your own team and project idea or discuss with already registered teams to join them in their challenge!
