Join us at Tech Chill, from 17 to 19 April in Riga

DEFIS representatives will be present at Tech Chill this week to meet with the local entrepreneurship ecosystem and raise awareness about the EU Defence Innovation Scheme (EUDIS) and the CASSINI Space entrepreneurship initiative.

On 17 April in the afternoon, Kristine Rudzite-Stejskala, Team leader for EUDIS at DG DEFIS, and Irene Sanchez Cebrian, Policy Officer in DEFIS Unit for Innovation and New Space – Space Defence, will host an info session together with a representative from CoInvest Capital, a Lithuanian VC fund, to present the opportunities fostered by CASSINI and EUDIS and address the challenges of access to finance for space and defence start-ups and SMEs.

On 18 April, DEFIS representatives from EUDIS and CASSINI teams will host a speed dating with startups companies, SMEs and investors present at the event. Don’t hesitate to contact us via the event’s application to book your meeting!

The afternoon will be devoted to a start-up showcase on one of the stages of Tech Chill, where Guillaume de la Brosse, Head of Unit for Innovation and New Space – Space Defence, will introduce 12 successful companies who develop innovative solutions for defence industry and space.

DEFIS presence at Tech Chill follows a series of gatherings with national space and defence entrepreneurship ecosystems, notably in Poland at Impact, Romania at the Black Sea Defence and Aerospace and Germany at ILA Berlin.
