EUDIS Defence Hackathon

The second edition of the EUDIS Defence Hackathon will take place from 9 to 11 May across eight locations in Europe. The focus is on supporting EU Member States and Ukraine addressing urgent defence challenges. The main theme of this event is Rapid Defence Solutions for the Ukrainian Battlefield and Beyond. Participants from across Europe, including Norway and Ukraine, are invited to join onsite or online to develop innovative solutions in the military sector. To inform potential applicants about the Hackathon challenges and local organisers, a Europe-wide information webinar will be hosted on April 9th at 15:00 CEST via Microsoft Teams. Interested individuals are encouraged to register and join the live session to learn more.

A Platform for Groundbreaking Defence Innovation

The EUDIS Defence Hackathons provide a unique opportunity for participants to develop cutting-edge solutions addressing key defence challenges. Over the course of three days, teams will co-operate, innovate, and compete to develop the most promising solutions. All teams will be supported by expert mentors with defence and business backgrounds, which will ensure that participants gain invaluable insights. Participants are able to join the hackathon in any of the eight locations – Italy, Spain, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
