Description

The Copernicus polar roadmap for service evolution is a product of the Copernicus Polar Task Force (2023-2024) and aims to stake out a direction for Copernicus service development in the polar domain for the next 5-10 years. It builds largely on a user survey issued in fall 2023, in addition to work from previous Commission polar expert groups, relevant Horizon projects, documentation from the Copernicus Services and input from partner organisations. The recommendations from the task force are intended for Copernicus management for robust service evolution, to place Copernicus in the landscape of polar initiatives and organisations, and as information for all Copernicus users.
