Enabling many more space companies to raise risk capital – that is the objective of the CASSINI Facility. It provides capital to VC funds to be invested into EU-based companies developing and marketing space technology and digital services using space data. While new entrants in the space sector previously found it challenging to raise capital, CASSINI Facility will be a game changer.

Euronext Helios Space Index
Helios, the first stock index for Europe’s space industry, was launched on 24 January 2023 by Euronext in cooperation with European Commission, ESA and Promus Ventures.
The Commission and European Investment Fund have launched the CASSINI Investment Facility in 2022 to channel capital to VC funds focusing on space investments. Companies aiming to raise larger amounts often need to consider a listing on a stock market.
Euronext Helios Space Index will gauge the performance of the European space industry, as Europe will build new space infrastructures and launch new digital services in the next years.
For investors, the index will provide a valuation of the European space industry. For listed companies, it will be a tool for better visibility. To be included in the space index, companies need to show a high level of performance and an ability to meet the expectations of the investors.
The index includes well-established and New Space companies. A short description of Euronext Helios Space Index can be found here: Euronext stock market indices | Euronext
