EU Access to Space Conference

The Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS) is pleased to host the EU Access to Space Conference, a high-level event bringing together key actors from across the European and global space ecosystem. This conference will mark the launch of a new phase of EU engagement on access to space under the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF).

The event will:

• Present the European Commission’s latest policy developments and the findings of two recent studies on access to space;
• Launch a strategic dialogue on resilience, innovation, and strategic autonomy in Europe’s space sector;
• Explore funding models, governance, and market mechanisms to boost innovation and reinforce Europe’s independent access to space.
