The European defence skills partnership (EDSP) is entering a new phase in 2020.
The consortium, composed of 30 EDSP members and their associates from 9 EU countries, was selected to receive an Erasmus+ grant of nearly €4 million. These funds will go to implementing a new strategic approach to sectoral cooperation on skill development.
Over the next 4 years, the project will build a sustainable human resources supply chain. This will allow defence sector companies to attract highly skilled workers and upskill employees through customised, complimentary education and training programmes in robotics, C4ISTAR and cybersecurity.
Upon signature of the contract, the project will kick off in January 2020.
